I first met Lisa when I was cleaning her neighbor’s windows last year. Lisa was in need of a window cleaner since her regular service provider wasn’t returning her calls, which is frustrating for anyone, especially when you rely on someone to keep your home looking its best.

Lisa’s home overlooks the lake and has a total of 64 windows. That’s a lot of windows to keep clean, but because of the environment, her windows get dirty quickly due to the pollen, dust, and local wildlife, like spiders, wasp nests and mud daubers. 

When we arrived at Lisa’s home, she mentioned how much she loved having us clean her windows so she could enjoy the gorgeous views without any obstructions. 

This time we cleaned all the inside and outside windows, because today, Lisa wanted every window to be spotless.

Lisa’s parents were in town from Michigan for the winter, and they were amazed at how pristine her windows looked. Even the bathroom windows—often one of the most difficult to clean—looked incredible.

Lisa shared how she had waited a little longer to have the windows cleaned this time, hoping to get past the pollen season. 

While pollen season can be hard on windows, it’s not the only thing that contributes to dirty glass. Dust, spider webs, and even bird droppings can create a visible mess on your windows, which is why regular window cleaning is so important.

After cleaning the windows, Lisa’s parents were so impressed with the results, they jokingly asked if we could travel to Michigan to clean their windows next. I told them, "Sure! But just so you know, we charge a  extra for the travel expenses to Michigan!" 

They laughed, and we all agreed that while their Michigan windows would certainly benefit from our services, we’d stick to Montgomery Texas for now.

How Often Should You Clean Your Windows?

When it comes to window cleaning, the answer to "how often" depends on several factors. 

In Lisa’s case, due to the environment around her home, she needs regular cleanings to maintain her view.

Another sign that it’s time for a cleaning is when you start to notice smudges, water spots, or dirt buildup on your windows.
